5 Day Design Process & Timeline

    • Your 5 Part Brand Assigment is due at the end of the day: The 5 Part Brand Assignment will include extensive questions about the direction and vision for your brand, your ideal client, and competitors. It also will include your website copy & wording, the images you’d like to use on your site, and your Pinterest board (which will be a mood board of sorts so I clearly understand the vision for the aesthetic for your brand).

Take the whole day to finalize your answers and lock in your content before we dig in our design week.

    • I’ll send you any questions about your Brand Assignment and make sure we’re squared away for your Design Week.

    • Kick Off Call: A quick 30 minute call to kick off our design week, answer any questions and go over the Design Week Timeline.

    • Homepage Mockup for Review: Once we get that nailed down, then I’ll jump on to the platform and start building it.

    • Finalize Homepage Design on the platform. The design of your homepage is key because it will determine the look of the rest of your design.

    • Work on the Interior pages (the other pages you’ve asked me to design): I’ll also build these directly on the Platform and I’ll pop the links to them in Kitchen for you to approve.

    • Interior Page Design Continued: I’ll keep working on the feedback that you’ve sent me.

    • Mobile Design Tested and Tweaked: I’ll work on your mobile site and test the look.

    • Connecting Social Accounts

    • Connecting Newsletters

    • Domain Transfer (if applicable)

    • Setting up site page and site descriptions for SEO

    • Custom Resource Library Request will be submitted: I’ll ask you what you’ll like in your Video Resource Library.

    • Final Tweaks & Closing Call Walkthrough: We’ll schedule a call to walkthrough the website and make final checks.

    • Tutorial Videos & Final Files Hand Off: By 5pm Pacific Time (unless otherwise stated), I’ll double check with you before anything goes live.

Take the whole weekend to test and soft launch the website. I recommend announcing the launch on the Monday following your Design Week.

  • 💖 3-Month Support because I don’t believe in leaving you hanging!

After our design week is complete, I’ll provide Web Design Support. This includes any troubleshooting (that doesn't involve contacting support), updating information on the website like inventory, testimonials, photos, typography, etc, and fixing any coding regarding your web design. Requests will be made using your Kitchen Portal.

Any requests outside of scope will be denied or subject to my hourly rate of $80/hr.

After you’ve signed the contract and paid your 35% deposit, I’ll send you the 5-part Brand Assignment for you to dig into via your client portal.

COMMUNICATION

I’ll also invite you to our Kitchen! During our Design Week, we’ll communicate using the Kitchen.co app and there’s no login required and you can answer messages directly from your inbox as well.

My Office Hours: Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm Pacific Time. All communication will be responded to within 24 hours, excluding weekends. During our Design Week, I’ll outline when I’ll need feedback from you so we can work together to meet deadlines!
